The death toll could be many folds more as the army of Pakistan discovered many more bodies in other remote places.

Many students were in school yesterday when the quake happened. Unfortunately, the school did not manage to evacuate the children fast enough and thus, many were buried under the collapsed school building.

The earthquake had caused serious damages to buildings. 67% of the educational institute was destroyed and schools were stopped for many students.

The government had sent the Pakistan army to help and even President Musharraf had gone to the affected areas personally. The government had also received help from other countries, as well as, funding for rebuilding infrastructure.
